This application functions by prompting users to step away from their devices for a specified duration. When active, Rude Phone sends personalized notifications urging individuals to reduce phone usage.
Users have the flexibility to add, modify, or remove notifications to tailor the app's approach and ensure messages align with their preferences.
To utilize the app effectively, adjust notification frequency or duration using the top slider before initiating the prompts by tapping "start." Notification frequency ranges between 1 and 5 minutes, while the duration can be set from 1 to 5 hours. Users can halt notifications by allowing the preset time to expire or toggling the "start" switch off.
If desired, users can deactivate lock screen notifications by navigating to settings > Get off your phone > notifications > and disabling lock screen alerts.
